Therie Smith
Therie’s Tutoring Services, LLC began after I spent several yeas in the educational field. I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a certified elementary teacher with an endorsement in mathematics. I am also trained in the Orton-Gillingham Multi-Sensory Reading Program. I taught first grade for two years at Timber Ridge Elementary School in Marietta, GA. After my second year teaching first grade, I moved into the city of Atlanta and married my wonderful husband. Soon after I got married, I became the Director of an after school program in Atlanta. Throughout my entire educational career, I have privately tutored students and always wanted to start my own tutoring company. My passion and dream became a reality when Therie’s Tutoring Services, LLC began!
I am also a certified classical yoga instructor who teaches both kids and adult yoga. I am trained in breath work, meditation and classical postures.
